A cosy but challenging workshop in which YOU are the master painter, creating your self-portrait in a ’van Gogh, Vermeer or Rembrandt’ canvas. No need to have any prior painting or drawing experience. We will begin with a brief introduction to the painter, style, proportions, colour and material. Portrait painting tips & directions are also given. Next you will examine your reflexion in the mirror. What makes your face so special and different from any other face? How do others see you and what would you consider to be your most characteristic feature? You will then choose your favourite masterpiece and draw your eyes, nose and mouth in the blank part of the pre-printed canvas - see the 3 options below and some examples of the finished product.
