Many possibilities to give you a colourful, joyful and professional workshop. We will get into the right mood by sharing experiences and ideas to stimulate the imagination to get inspired.  After a brief introduction to the principles of composition, colour and handling materials, we will make some try-out sketches on paper. Through tips & tricks from a professional painter, the empty canvas will become all yours. Your goal will be your own (or group) painting! Become a van Gogh

A cosy but challenging workshop in which YOU are the master painter, creating your self-portrait in a ’van Gogh, Vermeer or Rembrandt’ canvas. No need to have any prior painting or drawing experience. We will begin with a brief introduction to the painter, style, proportions, colour and material. Portrait painting tips & directions are also given. Next you will examine your reflexion in the mirror. What makes your face so special and different from any other face? How do others see you and what would you consider to be your most characteristic feature? You will then choose your favourite masterpiece and draw your eyes, nose and mouth in the blank part of the pre-printed canvas - see the 3 options below and some examples of the finished product. As a final step you will paint over the rest of the canvas to blend into the original. Guidance is always on hand. Ready! Your own masterpiece!
